Analyst, Data Quality & Sales Operations

In this role, you’ll play a key part in the vision and be responsible for taking a leading role to help to deliver trusted data to the Payor GTM Data Strategy Team and hundreds of business users through improvements to Data Quality in GTM data systems. Working in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Data Science, and system owners, the successful candidate will detect, measure, and fix data quality problems, ultimately focusing on addressing problems at data creation to eliminate problems at source.  

A successful team member in this role is passionate about using data to make an impact and is driven to provide the highest quality data for all of our GTM customers and partners. The position requires experience in Data Quality projects, experience analyzing and profiling large and complex data sets, the ability to manage projects end-to-end, and a curious and inquisitive approach to problem solving.

You will:

  • Own all phases of GTM data quality projects from project planning through execution and completion
  • Define and maintain data quality goals, standards, metrics, and processes, including ROI calculations
  • Build Data Quality dashboards and other methods to measure and report on data quality 
  • Work cross-functionally to identify and fix data quality issues using sustainable and best-practice tools and processes
  • Maintain a master list of data quality issues, priorities, and status
  • Work with other business analysts to ensure data rules and standards are being implemented and properly maintained 

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Quality/GTM Data Management roles
  • 5+ years of experience developing complex SQL, able to create multi-table joins and use analytical SQL functions 
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with data sets from 3rd party data providers
  • 3+years of experience interfacing with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • 3+ years of experience profiling data, identifying data attributes, locating errors, and generating reports
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects end-to-end, including task definition, work estimation, and status reporting
  • Experience solving for Data Quality problems in Salesforce

Nice to haves:

  • Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to actively listen, problem solve, and communicate across technical and business teams
  • Experience working for a SaaS technology or Financial Services company
  • Work experience with Firmographic Data Quality, Address Data Quality, big data cleansing
  • Experience developing data solutions for immediate and long term use
  • Experience working with ticket-based systems such as JIRA or ServiceNow
  • Experience with Territory data management
  • Strong desire to work in a fast-paced “startup” environment being able to organize and execute on small, medium, and large projects
